'Fuego' Volcano Eruption Forces Thousands of Guatemalans to Evacuate (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Nearly 4,000 people have been evacuated from their homes and cleared out of the disaster zone after Fuego volcano began erupting on Sunday, with ash and lava spewing from its crater, according to the government's natural disasters response agency.
Many of those were taken to a temporary camp in Escuintla's Municipal Stadium.
The eruption comes five months after nearly 200 people were killed in pyroclastic flows in June.
