Pourmousavi Steps Down as Esteghlal Khuzestan Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Just one day after appointing as Esteghlal Khuzestan coach, Sirous Pourmousavi stepped down from his role.
On Friday, Pourmousavi replaced Dariush Yazdi in the Ahvaz-based football club.
On Saturday, he changed his mind and quit his role.
Esteghlal Khuzestan will face Esteghlal on Sunday at Ahvaz’s Ghadir Stadium, while the team will be headed by Yazdi’s assistants.
Esteghlal Khuzestan sits bottom of Iran Professional League (IPL) table with four points from 12 matches.
