Aleksandar Ciric Extends Contract with Iran Water Polo Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Aleksandar Ciric has extended his contract with Iran Swimming Federation as head coach of Team Melli water polo coach.
He has signed a four-year extension with the Iranian federation.
Ciric led Iran national water polo team to a bronze medal in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Team Melli had not won a medal since 1974 Asian Games in Tehran, Iran, where the Persian won a gold medal at the Azadi Swimming pool.
The Serbian coach was appointed as Iran coach in 2015.
