New Leak Exposes Galaxy S10 in Samsung’s 10th-Anniversary

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Samsung’s Galaxy S10 was suddenly leaked for its 10th-anniversary that will come with up to six cameras, 5G carrier support and the biggest phone displays Samsung has ever made

Space/Science

There will be no less than four Galaxy S10 models, and they will come with up to six cameras, 5G carrier support and the biggest phone displays Samsung has ever made. But there are also some controversial compromises (1,2) and arguably the most controversial of them all has just been confirmed, Forbes reported.

Having already successfully leaked the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 this year, the ever-prolific, ever mysterious Ice Universe has confirmed every model of Galaxy S10 will cut a hole into their displays:

“The Galaxy S10 Lite, S10, and S10+ are all Hole in Super AMOLED screens, but the S10+ has dual front cameras, so the hole design is slightly different.”

The ‘hole’ Ice Universe refers to is from a screen type Samsung has already announced: the Infinity-O display and it literally has a circular hole cut out and positioned in the top left corner for the front camera. This design allows Samsung to reduce the size of the top bezel to compete with rivals, but cutting a hole where the notification area begins is not going to please everyone.

Furthermore, the single hole (or dual in the case of the Galaxy S10+) leaves no space for facial recognition sensors so Samsung’s breakthrough Face ID rival has also been scrapped to accommodate it.
