TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami said the enemies have become frustrated with the futility of threatening Iran with military action.

The enemies of Iran have become disappointed about the option of military threat against Iran, General Hatami said on Sunday, adding that such frustration has forced the adversaries to mount pressure on Iran about the country’s missile program.

“We are well aware that it is impossible to ignore the defense power for a moment,” he further said.

In comments last month, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei urged the Iranian Armed Forces to boost their military capabilities and preparedness in such a way that the enemies would not ever dare think of threaten the country.

Earlier this year, Ayatollah Khamenei called for efforts to maintain and boost Iran’s defense capabilities, hitting back at the enemies for disputing the country’s missile program.

“Without a moment of hesitation, the country must move to acquire whatever is necessary for defense, even if the whole world is opposed to it,” the Leader said on February 18.
