Esteghlal is going to strengthen itself for the 2019 AFC Champions League, where the team has been drawn along with Al-Duhail of Qatar, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal and the UAE’s Al-Ain.
Esteghlal is also a favorite to win Iran Professional League.
The 31-year-old forward plays for Club Guarani in the Paraguay Primera Division.
