Persepolis Target Gucci Close to Joining Tractor Sazi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian media reports suggest that Reza Ghoochannejhad (known as Gucci) is on the verge of joining Tractor Sazi football team.
The APOEL striker had been linked with a move to Iranian giant Persepolis but two parties didn’t reach an agreement over financial terms.
Now, the 31-year-old striker has reportedly met Tractor Sazi owner Mohammad Reza Zonouzi in Istanbul to talk about transferring to the Tabriz-based football team.
Tractor Sazi has recently appointed ex-Belgium coach Georges Leekens as new head coach.
The Iranian top-flight football team completed the signing of former Milan midfielder Kevin Constant in early January.
