The competition will be held in Baghdad, Iraq from March 10-14.
This will be a monumental tournament for the Iraq capital which will be hosting its first major basketball event since 1988.
The draw for the competition was completed on Sunday at the Nouhad Nawfal Sports Complex in Lebanon.
The competition will qualify spots for champions of their respective countries in Round 1 of the FIBA Asia Champions Cup, where four slots for teams from WABA are allocated. Therefore, the top four teams at the FIBA Asia Champions Cup WABA Qualifiers 2019 will each gain a qualifying spot for their respective country in the succeeding round.
Chemidor has been drawn in Group A along with Lebanon’s Homentemen and Al Jaych of Syria.
The defending champion Petrochimi is pitted against Qalandia from Palestine and Nift Baghdad of Iraq.
