During a ceremony in Tehran on Wednesday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Iranian National Standards Organization and Armenia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Investments.
Another cooperation document was also signed between the Supreme Council of the Free, Industrial and Special Economic Zones of Iran and Armenia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Investments.
The documents were signed with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in attendance.
Heading a high-ranking delegation, Pashinyan has traveled to Tehran to hold talks with senior officials of the country on ways to boost bilateral relations.
Tehran and Yerevan in recent years have ramped up efforts to boost bilateral relations in diverse economic and political fields.
Back in August, Iran and Armenia signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on joint production of agricultural machinery.
