The Iranian team lost to the visiting team 1-0 in Tehran’s Ararat Stadium.
“It was a good opportunity for us to test ourselves. I think we could have scored but our strikers wasted their chances. We had goalscoring problem in the Indian tournament,” Iran coach Maryam Azmoun said.
The Iranian team will play Belarus once again on Tuesday.
