Scottish Winger Jai Quitongo Joins Iran’s Machine Sazi

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian top-flight football club Machine Sazi has signed Scottish winger Jai Quitongo.

The 21-year-old player has penned a four-year contract with the Tabriz-based football club.

Throughout his youth career, Quitongo played for Hamilton Academical and Aberdeen.

He also played for Partick Thistle.

Quitongo is also a one-time capped Scotland U-21 internationalist.

Machine Sazi hopes to receive Quitongo’s International Transfer Certificate (ITC) for Tabriz derby with Tractor Sazi.

Machine Sazi sits eighth in Iran Professional League (IPL) with 22 points from 20 matches.
