Fereshteh Karimi scored Iran’s only goal in Tehran’s Handball Hall.

Iran had defeated the European bronze medal winner in its first friendly match 3-2 on Friday.

“We played well but conceded two goals in one minute for making mistake. However, I am satisfied with our performance against one the strongest team in Europe,” Iran coach Zivar Babaei said after the match.

Iran is preparing for the 2020 AFC Women's Futsal Championship.
