Kremlin Hasn’t Yet Studied Mueller Report: Spokesman

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Kremlin administration has not studied as of yet the report on the results of investigation by US Special Counsel Robert Mueller into Russia’s alleged meddling in the US presidential election in 2016, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We have not read the report," he told Tass news agency on Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Mueller presented the report in which he recognizes, in particular, that there was no collusion between the Donald Trump campaign and Russia. However, the report maintained that Russia had tried to influence the election through hacker attacks and the Internet Research Agency.

The US special services accuse Russia of meddling in the US election process in 2016. Mueller has led the investigation into alleged attempts of meddling since May 2017.

Trump and members of his team have repeatedly rejected all accusations concerning any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Moscow has also repeatedly refuted those allegations.
