Asian Club Volleyball C’ship: Shahrdari Varamin Defeats Galkan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Shahrdari Varamin defeated Turkmenistan’s Galkan at the 2019 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship on Friday.
The Iranian side beat Galkan 3-1 (25-17, 25-12, 20-25, 25-19) in Pool B at the National Taipei University of Education Gymnasium.
Shahrdari Varamin, who has started the campaign with a 3-1 win over Indonesian team Polri Samator, will meet Sri Lanka Ports Authority on Saturday.
The 10th edition of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship is organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association (CTVA).
The tournament is being held in Taipei, Chinese Taipei from April 18 to 26.
The winner of this tournament will be qualified to 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship.
