Ali Daei No Longer Saipa Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ali Daei is no longer Saipa’s coach after he launched furious attacks on the club’s officials.
The Iranian club parted company with the former Iran coach on Thursday.
Ebrahim Sadeghi has been appointed as interim coach until the end of the season.
In the Saipa, Zob Ahan post-match news conference, Daei said the Saipa club failed to fulfil its financial obligations to the team’s players.
Saipa, who will meet Padideh on Sunday, sits in the seventh place in the Iran Professional League (IPL) table.
