Iran Suffers Second Defeat at Russia Women’s Futsal Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran futsal team lost to Russia at the Victory Day Women Cup 2019 on Tuesday.
Team Melli, who had started the competition with a 7-1 loss to Portugal on Monday, was defeated against host Russia 2-0 at the Aquarium Sport Center in Moscow.
Iran will face Spain on Wednesday.
Team Melli prepares for the 2020 AFC Women's Futsal Championship.
Iran has won the first two editions of the AFC Women's Futsal Championship.
