Iran Freestylers Win Seven Medals at Sassari City Matteo Pellicone Memorial
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian freestyle wrestlers claimed seven medals at the 2019 Sassari City Matteo Pellicone Memorial on Saturday.
Ahmad Bazri in 86kg, Alireza Karimi in 92kg and Hamed Talebi Zarinkamar in 97kg claimed three gold medals.
Abbas Foroutan in 97kg won a silver and Nader Haj Aghania in 57kg, Younes Emami in 70kg and Arashk Mohebbi in 92kg won three bronze medals.
Kazakhstan won the team title with 162 points, followed by Russia (147 points) and Iran (111 points).
The 2019 Sassari City Matteo Pellicone Memorial was held in Sassari City, Italy from May 23 to 25.
