Branko Ivankovic on Verge of Joining Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic is reportedly on the verge of joining Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia.
The Croatian coach has one-year left on his contract with Persepolis but the Iranian team has failed to do its financial commitment.
Ivankovic led Persepolis to its third successive title in Iran Professional League in May.
He has also won two Super Cups and one Hazfi Cup title in his four-year term in Persepolis.
Under coaching of Ivankovic, Persepolis qualified for the 2018 AFC Champions League final, where it lost to Kashima Antlers 2-0 on aggregate.
