Yellow Vests Protests Continue in France for 33rd Straight Week (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Yellow Vests protesters hit the streets of Paris for the 33nd week in a row on Saturday, June 29 to demonstrate against the French government’s policies.

Despite the record-breaking heat in Paris, some thousand yellow vests took to the streets on Saturday to protest police violence.

Some yellow vest protesters gathered at Porte de Clichy in the north of the city, and included a yellow submarine as part of their march against the government.

Many of the demonstrators kept cool with water guns to deal with the heat.

Since the movement began last November, tens of thousands have marched every Saturday through the streets of France, airing a number of grievances, ranging from taxes on fuel to income inequality.

According to official numbers over 10,000 took to the streets last weekend across the country.
