Team Melli, as the most-decorated team in Asia, humiliated Kazakhstan 10-0 in Chonburi, Thailand.
Iran started the campaign with an 8-0 win over Bangladesh and also defeated Thailand (7-2), Malaysia (4-1), Philippines (18-2) and Uzbekistan (9-1).
Malaysia won a bronze medal with a 6-3 win over Uzbekistan.
The Iranian women’s team also took part in the competition and came sixth.
The 2019 Men's Indoor Asia Cup was the eighth edition of the men's Indoor Hockey Asia Cup, the biennial international men's indoor hockey championship of Asia organized by the Asian Hockey Federation.
The competition was held alongside the women's tournament from 15 to 21 July 2019.
