Mes Sungun Starts AFC Futsal Club Championship on High
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Defending champion Mes Sungun Varseqan of Iran cruised to an 8-2 victory over Kuwait’s Kazma SC in Group D of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Thailand 2019 on Thursday.
Saeid Taghizadeh (two goals), Alireza Askari Kohan (two goals), Mehdi Javid, Farhad Fakhim, Wesley Porfirio Machado and Mohammad Shajari scored for the Iranian futsal team.
Mes Sungun will meet Emirati futsal team Al-Dhafrah and Nagoya Oceans on Saturday and Monday respectively.
The 2019 AFC Futsal Club Championship is the 10th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, an annual international futsal club tournament in Asia organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
It’s being held in Bangkok, Thailand between 7–17 August 2019.
