Mehdi Taremi Out of Hong Kong Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran forward Mehdi Taremi missed the match against Hong Kong in the 2022 World Cup qualifier.
Taremi suffered a foot injury in the match against Sporting Lisbon and Iran coaching staff decided to travel to Hong Kong without the Rio Ave striker.
Iran will play Hong Kong in Group C of the 2022 World Cup qualification on September 10.
Team Melli is in Group C along with Iraq, Cambodia, Hong Kong and Bahrain.
