Remaining JCPOA Parties, EU to Convene in NY Wednesday
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, China, France, Germany, and the UK along with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini will hold a meeting in New York on Wednesday to discuss the implementation of the JCPOA, a report said.
“A Ministerial meeting of the E3/EU+2 and Iran on the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) will take place in New York on September 25," the official website of the EU reported.
The meeting will be chaired by Mogherini and attended by the foreign ministers of Iran, China, France, Germany, Russia, and the UK, the report said.
Ways to ensure the full and effective implementation of the JCPOA in all its aspects will be discussed during the meeting, it added.
World leaders have gathered in New York City for the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
