Davarzani and Behnam Mahmoudi were two candidates in the elections.
Davarzani, who had headed Iran volleyball federation from 2006 to 2016, returned to the federation as president with 26 votes out of 41 votes.
Most recently, Davarzani was Iran's Deputy Sports Minister but stepped down as his role last week to participate at the volleyball elections.
