In the Male Kumite 84+ Kg, Salah Abazari beat his countryman Mahdi Ashouri to claim a bronze medal.

Amir Mehdizadeh in the Male Kumite -60 and Sajad Ganjzadeh in the Male Kumite +84kg have qualified for the final match.

The tournament has brought 737 karate athletes together from 89 countries.
