Iran’s men’s team qualified for the 2020 Paralympic Games as one the top four teams.
Iran had already defeated China, Thailand and South Korea and lost to Japan and Australia.
Iran’s women’s team also defeated India 48-19.
The team had earlier defeated Cambodia, India and Afghanistan and lost to Thailand.
The competition has four spots available for men and three for women at Tokyo 2020, with one spot in each already allocated to Japan as the host nation.
The games have brought 14 men’s teams and eight women’s teams together.
