Iran Basketball Federation Offers Condolences Following Kobe Bryant’s Death

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Republic of Iran Basketball Federation expressed its condolences following the death of basketball star Kobe Bryant.

He died in a helicopter crash on Sunday, along with eight other people, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna.

Bryant, who spent 20 years with the Lakers, retired from the NBA in 2016 but the game of basketball was still an important part of his life up until his untimely death.

The Iranian federation extended its condolences to the bereaved family of Bryant in a message.

Iranian basketball starts Hamed Haddadi, Samad Nikkhah Bahrami, Mohammad Hassanzadeh and Mohammad Jamshidi also sent their thoughts and condolences after Bryant's death.
