Ali Miri Bids Farewell to Iran Weightlifting Team
TEHRAN (Tassnim) – Iranian weightlifter Ali Miri has announced his retirement from National Team on Friday.
Miri quit in protest over the negligence of West Azarbaijan Province weightlifting towards himself.
He won a silver medal at the 2019 edition of International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Championships in Thailand after lifting 374kg in total.
Miri also won a silver medal at the 2019 Asian Championships in Ningbo, China.
