Pourmousavi Steps Down as Iran U-19 Coach
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sirous Pourmousavi stepped down as head coach of Iran U-19 football coach.
It could be a blow for Iran since the team will have to play at the 2020 AFC U-19 Championship in Uzbekistan in October.
The top four teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
Pourmousavi had been appointed as the team’s coach in December 2018.
