Iran’s Tahbaz 2nd at Online Asian Junior Chess C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Arash Tahbaz from Iran finished in second place at online Asian Junior Chess Championship.
Tahbaz came second with 6.5 points. A chess player from Uzbekistan won the gold medal with 7.5 points.
Mobina Ali Nasab, Anahita Zahedifar and Mitra Asgharzadeh represented Iran’s female team and Parham Maghsoodloo, Arash Tahbaz and Mohammad Amin Tabatabaei were members of Iran’s male team.
Tabatabaei and Maghsoudloo ranked 6th and 7th, respectively.
