Persepolis Needs Two Wins to Reach 1,000 Points in IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team will reach 1,000 points in the Iran Professional League (IPL) competitions if it wins its next two matches.
Persepolis defeated Shahin Bushehr 1-0 on Saturday, leaving the team just six points shy of 1000.
The Reds are on the verge of winning the IPL title for the fourth time in a row.
Persepolis will meet Machine Sazi and Foolad and can be the first Iranian football team that reaches 1,000 points in case of winning its next two matches.
