Local media had reported that the 30-year-old player will replace his compatriot Morteza Pouraliganji in Al-Arabi.

Rezaeian has joined the Qatari champion on a two-year contract.

Al Duhail will meet Persepolis in the 2019-20 AFC Champions League group stage and Rezaeian will play against his former club.

Rezaeian joined Al-Shahania and scored 13 goals for the Qatari team in the last season.

He is the first Iranian player to play in Al-Duhail.
