Esteghlal A Dangerous Rival for Opponents: Namjoo Motlagh
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal coach Majid Namjoo Motlagh said they are a dangerous team for every opponent.
The Iranian team will resume the 2020 AFC Champions League with a match against Iraqi team Al-Shorta in Group A at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar, on Sunday.
“We have a well-prepared team and are highly-motivated to meet Al-Shorta. We will do our best in the match against Al-Shorta and will benefit from our experience and expertise in the Asian competitions,” Namjoo Motlagh said in the pre-match news conference.
“We’ve already played Al-Shorta and we know that how a disciplined team they are. We have analyzed the team and identified what are their strengths and weaknesses,” he added.
“A draw against Al-Shorta could be a good result but we want to win the match,” Namjoo Motlagh stated.
