Oct. 21 Submission Deadline for 2nd Part of Iran’s Film Festival
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The head of the Public Relations Office of Iran’s 16th Resistance International Film Festival Mohsen Javadi announced the deadline for submitting works to the second part of the cinematic event.
Javadi said those who are interested in participating in the second part of the event need to submit their works to the secretariat of the festival not later than October 21, 2020.
He added the second part of the festival presents "Main Competition", "Resistance Prominent Martyr - Special Section", "Best Film Competition in Absolute Sense" and" Narrations of Pen - Scriptwriting Competition".
The second part is slated to be held on November 21-27, 2020, he said.
The Resistance International Film Festival is considered as one of the most prestigious international film festivals in Iran with an aim to create an atmosphere of dialogue and understanding of current human sufferings and to foster the human spirit of brotherhood, peace, and resisting oppression and cruelty.
The event seeks to use the language of film as a medium to fight terrorism and violence.
Filmmakers around the world submitted short-length and feature-length documentaries, short-length and feature-length films, animations and music videos relevant to the festival's topics.
