Iranian Freestyler Ebrahimi Misses World Wrestling Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian freestyle wrestler Mohammad Jaavd Ebrahimi will miss the 2020 World Wrestling Championships.
The 92kg wrestler will be absent in the world championships due to the torn meniscus he suffered in training.
Ebrahimi has won two gold medals, at the 2018 and 2020 Asian Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Bishkek and New Delhi respectively.
The 2020 World Wrestling Championships are set to go ahead as planned from 12-20 December in Belgrade, Serbia.
