FIFA Lifts Esteghlal Transfer Ban
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal's transfer ban has been lifted by FIFA, meaning the club will be able to buy new players.
The popular Iranian team was handed the transfer ban by FIFA's Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) after it failed to pay Winfried Schaefer’s payment.
Esteghlal is going to win the Iran Professional League (IPL) after eight years and it can be good news for the Blues.
Esteghlal has recently signed 20-year-old player Sobhan Khaghani.
