More than 11,200 new coronavirus cases were detected in Iran during the previous 24 hours, the Health Ministry’s spokeswoman said Saturday.
Speaking at a daily press conference, Sima Sadat Lari said the total number of people tested positive for COVID-19 in Iran rose to 749,525 following the detection of 11,203 new cases since Friday.
Of the new cases detected since yesterday, 2,509 patients were admitted to the hospital, she added.
