TEHRAN (Tasnim) – 'Yellow Vest' protesters rallied near the Council of State in Paris on Saturday, carrying colorful umbrellas in support of a demonstrator who had been arrested at a protest against the security bill in November.

Several dozen yellow vests responded on Saturday December 19 to a “march of powers” ​​whose starting point was set at the Council of State. Among the many images of the demonstration that circulated in the afternoon, many featured multicolored and rainbow umbrellas.

An accessory that far from being a coincidence even gave rise to the nickname, the “rainbow block”. A reference to the rainbow that decorates it, but also and above all to Moun.This woman in her fifties, a school facilitator, took part in a demonstration against the global security law on November 12, when she was arrested and then indicted. Moun is believed to have sent rallying signals to groups of black blocs via her multicolored umbrella. The charges are “participation in an armed group with a view to committing degradation and violence”, and “unauthorized possession of a category A weapon”.
