Esteghlal Coach Marfavi Tests Positive for COVID-19
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team coach Samad Marfavi has tested positive for COVID-19.
He didn’t accompany his team in the match against Gol Gohar in Sirjan, where the Blues won the match 2-1 and topped the league.
The total number of people infected with the coronavirus in Iran has exceeded 1,218,000 and the death toll has reached 55,095.
The number of people infected with COVID-19 across the world has surpassed 82 million and the death toll is about to hit 1.8 million.
