3 Die in Landmine Explosions in Syria

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A civilian was killed in the explosion of a landmine left behind by terrorist groups in Syria’s Idlib countryside.

A source at Police Command told Syrian news agency SANA in a statement that a landmine, left behind by terrorist groups, went off in the farms of Magharet Merza village, Idleb southern countryside, causing the death of a civilian.

Two children were killed in another landmine blast in the Arab country on Wednesday.

The landmine went off in al-Dweir area in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside on Wednesday night, causing the deaths of two kids and injury of another.

Before they were defeated, terrorist groups, including Daesh (ISL or ISIS), planted landmines and IEDs in the areas controlled by them in Syria, and hid them in the villages, towns and the agricultural lands to cause the largest possible harm of the locals who return to their areas after their liberation from terrorism.
