Hazfi Cup Round of 32: Esteghlal Defeats Paykan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team earned a hard-fought 2-1 win over Paykan in Round of 32 of Iran’s Hazfi Cup on Thursday.
Cheick Diabate and Mohammad Daneshgar were on target for Esteghlal in the 17th and 39th minutes and Ebrahim Salehi pulled a goal back in the 58th minute.
On Friday, Persepolis will play First Division Mes Novin in Kerman on Friday.
