Esteghlal Defeats Machine Sazi in Iran Professional League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team earned a 2-0 win over rock-bottom Machine Sazi in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Wednesday.
Vahid Nemati scored an own goal in the 19th minute and Arsalan Motahari made it 2-0 in the 42nd minute.
It was Machine Sazi’s 11th loss out of 18 matches.
In Ghaemshahr, Nassaji emerged victorious after 13 matches, edging past Saipa 1-0. Mahmoud Ghaed Rahmati scored a late goal for Nassaji.
In Tehran, Paykan defeated Zob Ahan 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mohammad Amin Darvishi.
