Sepahan Moves Top of Iran Professional League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan football team moved up to top of Iran Professional League (IPL) on Thursday.
Sepahan defeated Tractor 2-0 in Isfahan and moved top of the table thanks to goal difference over Persepolis.
Sajad Shahbazzadeh and Yasin Soleymani were on target for Sepahan.
In Tehran, Persepolis defeated Naft Masjed Soleyman 2-1. Mehdi Torabi and Vahid Amiri scored for Persepolis and Meysam Tohidest was on target of the visiting team.
Aluminum Arak edged past Mes Rafsanjan 1-0 and Sanat Naft was held to a goalless draw against Shahr Khodro.
