Iran Not Planning to Participate at Wagner Memorial
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national volleyball team is not going to take part at the 18th edition of the Memorial of Hubert Jerzy Wagner due to the hectic schedule.
Poland Volleyball Federation has invited Iran to the event but Vladimir Alekno’s team will not participate in the tournament since the team plans to participate at Volleyball Nations League and Olympic Games.
The four-team competition will be held from July 9 to 11.
The Memorial of Hubert Jerzy Wagner is a volleyball competition for national teams, organized by the Hubert Wagner foundation. There are men's competitions, organized only in Poland.
The first Memorial was organized in 2003 and since then it has been held every year.
