Esteghlal among Asian Top 10 Teams in Decade: IFFHS
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team of Iran has been rated among Asian top 10 teams of the decade, the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) reported.
South Korean Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC sits top of the list, followed by Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Ulsan of South Korea.
Barça, with a total of 2,877 points, sits ahead of Real Madrid (2,782) and Bayern Munich (2,594.5).
The ranking is decided by rating victories and draws from each competition.
In the decade Barça claimed 22 trophies, six league titles, five Copas del Rey, two Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups and five Spanish Super Cups.
