Esteghlal Forward Cheick Diabate Returns to Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team iconic striker Cheick Diabate returned to Tehran, Iran on Saturday.
The Malian forward had traveled to France on March 12 for vacations.
Esteghlal is scheduled to meet Paykan in the Iran Professional League on April 3.
Diabate is an instrumental player for the team in the Iran league and AFC Champions League.
Esteghlal sits third in the IPL and is a favorite to win the title after eight years.
