We’ve Analyzed Sharjah, Rasoul Khatibi Says

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tractor football team coach Rasoul Khatibi said they have analyzed the UAE’s Shahrjah.

Sports

Tractor, who drew 3-3 with Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor, will play Sharjah on Matchday 2 of the 2021 AFC Champions League.

“We try to plan our strategy based on upcoming games, for the next match against Sharjah we are analyzing its weaknesses and plan on exploiting the team. Our group is one of the most challenging groups, but all our players have quality and are in a good physical condition," said Khatibi.

Khatibi said he was looking forward to locking horns with Shahrjah coach Abdulaziz Al Anbari.

“When I was a player at Sharjah, we played very well and were top of the league at some point. As a captain, Mr. Al Anbari was a very respectful and very good player. All of the players respected him and right now he is the head coach and has delivered some good results since taking over,” he added.
