Esteghlal will meet the Qatari giant in Group C of the 2021 AFC Champions League at the King Abdullah Sports City Wednesday night.
Esteghlal will go five points clear in the group if it defeats Al-Duhail. The Blues sit top of the group after defeating Iraq's Al-Shorta (3-0) and Al-Ahli Saudi FC (5-2).
“We expect a difficult match because Al-Duhail is an excellent side and it has good organization on the pitch. We have seen its matches in the competition and it has had good performances," said Kamalvand.
“The winner of the match will have a chance to advance to the next stage. We will give our best in order to win our third consecutive match and strengthen our position in the group,” he added.
“We have good players and four of them scored two goals each. This tactical variation helps us to take use of all our capabilities in order to score goals,” Kamalvand concluded.
