10-Man Sepahan Beats Nassaji in IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan football team defeated Nassaji 1-0 to move top of Iran Professional League (IPL) table on Thursday.
Ehsan Hajsafi was on target for the visiting team in the 25th minute.
Sepahan was reduced to 10 men in the 45th minute after its defender Mohammad Nejadmehdi was shown a red card.
In Arak, Aluminium drew 1-1 with Paykan.
Mahmoud Fekri’s Naft Masjed Soleyman also edged past Mes Kerman 1-0.
Sepahan leads the table with 44 points from 21 matches. Persepolis is second with 41 points from 20 matches.
