Paykan Loses to Saipa by Default: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– The Disciplinary Committee of Iran Football Federation handed 3-0 defeat to Paykan after the team made six substitutions during a match against Saipa last week.
The sixth change came in the dying moments of the match when only five were allowed.
Paykan won the match 2-1 in Matchweek 23 of the Iran Professional League (IPL) but the judges cancelled the result.
The win can help Saipa to avoid relegation.
